Abby came downstairs to presents surrounding the tree and her favorite song, Frosty the Snowman playing. We told her it was Christmas and she said, "Jesus birthday" and asked for birthday cake. Cute.

We opened our stockings first....Abby enjoying pulling gift after gift out of hers. Chestnut seemed to rememeber this part from previous Christmases and was waiting for his gifts. He got to open his stocking later...

Jake was more interested in the pretty tree than the things Santa brought him for Christmas....

And, of course, big sister Abby helped him open all his gifts.

The kids got lots of toys this year. Abby's favorite was her brand-new tricycle.

And Jake enjoyed playing with his new toys...That is, before Abby decided she wanted to play with all his baby toys......

Even though it was just the four of us, Matt prepared a big Christmas turkey with all the trimmings. It was yummy!

After dinner, we bundled up the kids and went for a walk around the neighborhood to look at Christmas lights. Abby loved the snowmen displays. We heard, "More Frosties" many times.

After our walk, we came home to decorate Christmas cookies. It was very messy, but Abby loved it.

We hope you enjoyed the love of family and friends this holiday season and experienced the joy that knowing the true meaning of Christmas brings. From our family to yours....
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!
