24 Weeks

We made it to 24 weeks! Yay! Every week counts when giving this little girl as much time as possible to grow and develop in my belly. 24 weeks is generally considered to be the gestational age when the baby is viable, or can live outside the womb.

My hubby is all about the numbers and statistics, so I found this information for him:

Length of Pregnancy  - Likelihood of Survival

  23 weeks                       -17%

  24 weeks                       -39%

  25 weeks                       -50%

  26 weeks                       -80%

  27 weeks                       -90%

  28-31 weeks                 -90-95%

  32-33 weeks                - 95%

34+ weeks                    -Almost as likely as a full-term baby

So...we just sit here and wait...planning on going ALL THE WAY, Baby! It's going to be a LONG, boring summer, but one of the most important ones of my life.
Grow, Baby, Grow!!!
