This was Abby's third Halloween and Jacob's second, and they are just starting to figure this holiday out. Trying to get past my procrastinating ways, I asked Abby well in advance who she would want to dress up as this year. Not surprisingly, she picked the ever-popular Dora the Explorer. Of course, if she was Dora, then that meant that Jake would have no choice but to be Boots the monkey (sorry, Jake...I only have a short period of time to coordinate costumes before you both insist on your own). ....which was unfortunate because we had quite a few events to wear the costumes to, like Abby's Preschool Fall party...
...the Halloween celebration on Main Street....
...Trunk-or-Treat at our church...
...and, of course, Trick-or-Treating in our neighborhood...
Towards the end of all the festivities, we finally figured out how to help Jake enjoy his time in his costume...

That is the absolute cutest post EVER!! Love the ending. Candy is the way to every fussy child's heart... right?? We gotta remember this!!! hmmm, wonder how long this works. lol. : ))
