Well, he's finally done it....and my life will never be the same.
After months and months of physical therapy, little Jake has FINALLY started to crawl! At almost eleven months old, we had to be very patient for this little milestone (torticollis made it very difficult for him to be on his tummy in the beginning, limiting the opportunities to build the muscles needed to crawl), but it was worth it. And he LOVES the freedom and independence that comes with his new ability.
We are so excited for him and so glad to have met our final goal in physical therapy. I honestly think that it won't be long before he is walking. He already can pull himself to standing and cruises a bit as well. It will be interesting to see just how I will deal with having TWO mobile children. I'm trying to prepare myself for the expected chaos:-)
Here is a video of the sweet baby boy showing off his crawling skills:

adorable! you'd never think he needed PT. Hope to see y'all in person SOON!! (but still no word yet)
That's awesome! Way to go Jake! He and Olivia will get along just fine. Even though she's been mobile since she was 6 months old, she just started traditional crawling, too. So they crawl at about the same speed. It'll be fun to see them this weekend!
Just Wonderful! So happy for little Jake!
that's awesome! leah, still, not so much :)
