I haven't posted in a VERY long time because, well, life has been a bit chaotic with 2 under two. And while some days I've had enough and swear that I'm going to sell my kids on EBAY (they're cute kids...I think I'd get a lot for them:-), life is pretty good these days.
Abby is adjusting to the role of big sister very nicely. She LOVES Jake and can finally say his name:-) It sounds kind of like "Jeekee". So cute. She loves to hug and kiss him and gets very possessive of him especially when other kids come around and want to touch him. He's HER baby. She helps me whenever she can and likes to "push" him in the stroller. She is getting so big and has definitely started asserting her independence (uh-oh, terrible twos already), but she is proving to be such a sweet little girl.
Jake is much more verbal these days and loves to hear himself "talk". He laughs all the time and just loves getting his diaper changed (weird). Most of all, he has begun to really watch Abby. He just thinks she is the most interesting person in the whole world. I know he will be working hard to catch up to his big sister.
We went to Arizona this past week to celebrate my Dad's 60th birthday and Thanksgiving. It was a great time seeing my friends and family. Abby and Jake met their great Grandma and Grandpa for the first time.
Abby also had a great time playing with her cousins "Lucky" (Lexi) and "Grayee" (Grady). This was the first time they were all old enough to really interact. It was pure chaos most of the time and my ears are still ringing from all the squealing, but it was a lot of fun.
